My Review on The Elephant Man
The Elephant Man overall was a great film. The acting of John Merrick was great, just thinking of all that he went through as an actor and as a person. The person behind the make up and wardrobe had gone through hours and hours or make up to make a perfect John Merrick, just thinking of him being under pounds of make up on his face and body is phenominal. Then aside to that, he had to act like the real Elephant Man when cameras were on, so in this scene were the night porter invited all of these random people to see the "freak" and when they poured alcohol on a position where the Elephant Man cant cope with and will likely suffer, not like he wasn't suffering already, considering his make up was making him extremely sweaty so he did have something to complain about. This movie was really touching, I've seen many modern movies or even movies that were created not so far apart from The Elephant Man, and not one, has had me feeling so emotionally sad because of the torture people created on John. He was a human just like all of us. an unusual appearance but also and unusual heart and knowledge because he was more positive than many other people today.

My Name Is John Merrick
After all the torture that was held upon me through my staying with Mr.Bytes, or even so my temporary utopian life that I had lived through because of Dr. Fredrick Treves and so forth, made me become the strong man that i was. I had probably lived a life that not many 21 year olds lived: I had been participated in a many freak shows, pretty sad and embarrassing because I was treated like an animal and the title of it itself is offending but I experienced that. I came from nothing to something because of my knowledge that made Dr.Treves realize that I am a normal human being. I was able to communicate with two beautiful woman, though I did look stunned by their beauty and they were stunned by my not-so-beauty, I was still a human to them, and that's what really matters. I already ended my show even before it was ended. "[I]passed the setting sun, or rather--He passed [me]" So remember me as John Merrick, not the Elephant Man, but just as a huMAN.

Welcome to my nightmare. . .bwa ha ha ha ha!
I went to an award show last November with my friends, about eight of us. We had a great time, we saw Austin Mahone, Enrique Iglesias and other amazing artists. After the show, at about 6pm/7pm my friend told us that she wanted to lead us somewhere (she didn't have a car, we went on a metro.) Anyhow, we all decided to go where she wanted to go, but once we got there all i saw were cars, bridges, dimmed lights and factories. I was thinking "Where the HELL are we!?" My friend was like "Oh, don't worry. GPS says that we'll be there in a few more minutes." Well, OK then. . . We had gotten off of the metro then on to the bus where it had dropped us off in ghetto part of Los Angeles, in Santa Fe and 8th street, I believe. My friend started to look worried, she said nothing was wrong, but that her GPS wasn't leading us to the right direction anymore. We ran to the nearest location that had lights and people; we ended up in a Gas Station Liquor. Before we arrived there, about 8 cars were chasing my friends and I. They blocked our way out and kept being weird. After all the craziness that I experienced, the police came and helped us out. When I got home, I felt so appreciated of life, I hadn't felt sooo comfortable in like a few hours but it felt like years.Life is so beautiful and we should appreciate it. MY experience felt like a crazy nightmare; like getting followed by Michael Myers, Freddy K, Jason etc, all at once. Thanks to that I lost a few pounds though because I ran for my life. . . literally.
