Compassionate Science
First off, Education is extremely important. One may have a ton of money and decide to not have any education, but educated people are wise people for various of reasons. I personally think that a person with knowledge and heart have the ability to change the world. If someone is wealthy, they'd probably just think about themselves and maybe donate money to charity and they'll let other people take charge. That's the problem right there. If we want to make a difference then we must take action and take a step forward to that goal. Money doesn't make happiness. Happiness is made by the knowledge of knowing what we did to make a difference in our community, our state, our country. . . our world. If we continue our course of education throughout the years of our life, we will gain the knowledge and make huge differences. One of us may probably find a cure for cancer and we may never know, maybe one day someone will discover a type of antibiotic that will make us live forever, or maybe increase our life span. One way this can be worked out is the proper use of technology and education.

Predicting the Future
I predict that in a few hundred years from now, there will
be flying cars. Though people have been predicting that since the beginning of
our years (1900s) or maybe even before, it can still have the currency to happen. Maybe there is
somebody now, at this very moment, planning techniques to make a flying car; a
similar person to Victor Frankenstein, who created a monster with old parts of
a human’s anatomy. Another thing that I have always predicted, are helicopters
flying in between freeways. I was sort of struck when I watched the film
Metropolis by Fritz Lang because in the film, he had predicted helicopters
flying in mid air; flying in between the bridges of the freeways. He predicts
it to happen in the year 2026, that sounds legitimately correct but I think
it’ll take a few more years than that, considering that our people are still
trying to figure out how to create another iPhone generation, they might not
even be thinking of a helicopter, that’s too old fashioned to them, I assume. I
also predict humans living underwater, but I don’t want to scare myself so I’ll
just stop right here, ha ha.

Funniest Moment
A few weeks ago, I had signed up to Drivers Ed (Driving class), I called
for an appointment and so when the day arrived for my first instruction; I drove
around my city, then off to another city, then to another, but it seemed like
the farther I went, the instructor became more rude. He said, “Why even waste my
time and your time driving?” then I
said “I am paying you for this, how am I wasting my time, as a matter of fact,
it shouldn’t be wasting yours, either.” I arrived home and decided not to take a
class with him. SO I changed instructor. He was really patient and said that I am
a good driver. He later asked why I had changed instructor. I started yapping about
that man all the way through our lesson and back. Until when my new instructor
said. . .”That’s my dad.” I didn’t know what to think, I know the proper way would be,"Oh my, I'm sorry."but instead I started
bursting out with laughter, I couldn’t control myself.

Modern Times Review
In Modern Times, I really liked how Chaplin made the scenes with a
mixture of what life looked like in the past and what life looks like now. So
he basically predicted the future by adding what it would look like to live the
American Dream, where he and his girlfriend had a home to live in, although, it
wasn’t fancy, it still included many features of what a home would look like
now. I also appreciated his comic; he was very funny in every way possible. I
also noticed something in the movie that no one had mentioned in my class;
Chaplin also compared the movie with his past life, in the scene where Chaplin
had forgotten the lyrics for his performance, he also connected that to his mother
when he was just a child, she had forgotten the lyrics, but Chaplin, somehow,
found himself on stage, even when he didn’t know what to do, he still managed
to entertain the crowd in Modern Times and at his mother’s performance when he
was a young child.
